Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea, & few minutes of relaxation. Expect a little bit of everything: humor, parental musings, moments of kindness, ideas, struggles, and accomplishments.

Not many people can say that they get to be a part of a child's first Mother's Day Breakfast with Mommy, the wonder of adding a sibling to a family, be there to celebrate accomplishments, and of course comfort sorrows. Working in early childhood we are the few that witness so many firsts, so much growth and learning, and also create relationships with children that will be remembered for many years to come. No matter how rough a day I may be having, all I have to do is walk into one of my classrooms to feel better. There is nothing like the love of children, their kindness when a friend is down, or their laughter to bring the sunshine back. Every person should be as lucky as I am to love what I do, being in a classroom never feels like work, it is a privilege. Next time you feel like life is passing you by, bend down, listen, talk to your children, enjoy them. Marvel in the exquisite little people you have created; they really are something else. Each and every one of them is a special person, growing and learning every day. Thank you for making my job, not a job, your children inspire me every day.
